Trained in some of the world's finest music conservatories and comprised of prominent performers and educators, the Apex Brass brings its own dynamic blend of exhilarating virtuosity and showmanship to their concerts. Whether dazzling audiences with classical masterpieces or swingin' jazz charts, the Apex Brass bridges the gap between audience and artist, creating an infectious recipe of fun for all ages. The individuals of the Apex Brass perform regularly with the Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Oregon, Detroit, and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestras and have participated in some of the most prestigious music festivals around the globe, such as the Spoleto USA Festival and the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan. Members have won first prizes at the National Trumpet Competition and International Trumpet Guild Competitions and have presented at the International Horn Society and International Tuba Euphonium Association Conferences. As educators they are actively involved with musical programs around the country by conducting masterclasses, seminars, lectures, and concerts through teaching at universities and public schools. Their educational programs have guided students to success in high school and college programs across the country.
